With Charlie off to his lesson and Mom off looking for Mark and Erica to ski with, Dad and Evie were left to hang out. We started off with a walk around the lodge on a nice sunny day, but Evie wanted me to carry her. When I refused, she decided she was just going to kneel down in the middle of the walkway. So I sat down on a fence a few steps away and the stand off began.
Both determined to win, I decided to encourage her to walk over to me as skiers walked around her, looking at her strangely and then spotting me shortly afterwards. Instead of walking, Evie shuffled on her knees, extremely slowly, all the way over to me with a huge pout on her face.
Somehow I convinced her to get her ski equipment on and go out for a couple of runs. A little progress from last time out (she refused to ski the last two visits to the club) but she still has a ways to go!
We were back up to Caledon on Monday too, getting a little visit in with David and Joyce and soaking up the sun. Can't miss spring skiing in Feb!
