Happy Hour at a bar down the street from Oistin's. We heard they don't serve food until 7:00PM so we found a spot for a drink. Mom was excited that she was given paper straws in her rum punch. Dad was disappointed all they had was regular beers, nothing from the new craft brewery on the island.
When we arrived at Oistin's, it had been 13 years since Angela and I had been, back in our mid 20's after just meeting each other. Dad was looking for the place we ate at last time, but a kind server informed us that they completely changed the layout since we had been last. Instead of grabbing food literally out of the back of boats and grills at the boats, they moved to an "organized" stall/market layout, which was a lot of fun. We were sat at an empty table and within minutes had 20 people joining us from different parts of the world enjoying some freshly cooked food. It was packed and we will definitely come back again next time, bringing the whole family.
