Back to the Barbados Animal Reserve! We visited this little gem two years ago, as Charlie remembered. As has been the theme for this trip, we had the entire reserve to ourselves. The animals were more inquisitive of us this year or less concerned, not sure which. We saw plenty of Green Monkeys, Tortoise, Mara and other animals.
The Monkey's refused to leave the path, so we had to find another way around. After a while, we realized we just had to walk over their tails and make sure not to step on them!
This was a picture on the way into the reptile enclosure. On the way out, the Monkeys were blocking our way out. We simply had to wait them out until they got bored and the way out opened up.
Evie not interested in a family photo (again)
Our (her) fortunes turned for the next photo op!
Charlie wasn't listening to Mom, so he didn't make it to the bat cave this year. So it was just Dad, Evie and Grandma on this visit.
And guess what!? Evie didn't want her picture taken by the bat cave sign! Whaaat?!?
Then I found a worm on the ground, it made her laugh and she posed for a photo. It should be known that I had NO idea there were bats in the cave until after I walked through to see this sign on the other sign. Either I didn't remember from years past, or I might have got back up early with Evie when she was a baby.
