Arepa Republic and Bellwoods

Monday was a strange day, but a great day.  Besides being Evie's birthday (more to come), it was also a PA day for Charlie.  Mom stayed home with Charlie, but need to take a donor to lunch so she dropped him off at Dad's office for a couple of hours over lunch.

We decided to head up to one of Dad's favorite lunch spots - The Arepa Republic.  They serve classic Venezuelan cuisine, with arepa's being their signature dish.  It is a corn flour dish, stuffed with anything - but this one was full of black beans, avocado, cheese and plantain.  Delicious!

We took the food over to Bellwoods brewery because it had the board games Charlie wanted and the beer Dad was going to pick up for colleagues.  A little classic concentration after lunch!
