Charlie started asking questions about chess recently, so he received a chess set for Christmas. He is taking on Mom and Dad and learning the basics. He's a quick study, but Dad told him flat out that he has no intentions of losing to Charlie until Charlie really earns the victory. This leads to the occasional meltdown, but it hasn't deterred him from coming back for more. The head phones are for show only, no music on there ... he thinks it makes him look like a DJ.
